This year I participated in #Config2024 in person in San Francisco.  After being part of the Friends of Figma, Chile Community for three years, I finally decided to attend the Figma Config!

I have to say, this has been the largest design conference I’ve ever participated in, and it was incredibly exciting. The energy and enthusiasm of the attendees was amazing , and the quality and number of world-class speakers was impressive: 

75 speakers and over 50 sessions in just two days.

The highlight of Config 2024 was undoubtedly Figma AI’s role in design. This AI can generate entire design layouts, write copy, and name layers in seconds. New features announced include AI-generated designs, visual search, copywriting assistance, and automated layer naming.
